Developing the European Diploma in Neurosurgery Examinations — EANS, Brussels
On 17 April 2026, Dr Christian Dimitriu travelled to the headquarters of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS) in Brussels. Alongside the examination team, he contributed to the development of MCQs and clinical cases for the European Diploma in Neurosurgery (FEBNS) examination.
Contributing to the training and assessment of future neurosurgeons at a European level is a true honour and a major responsibility in upholding the highest standards of the specialty. Dr Dimitriu thanks Chairman Marcel Ivanov for his commitment, leadership and the quality of this collaboration.

Examiner — European Board Examination in Neurological Surgery (FEBNS Part II)
Dr Christian Dimitriu has been invited as an examiner for the European Board Examination in Neurological Surgery (FEBNS Part II). This examination, organised by the EANS (European Association of Neurosurgical Societies), assesses the competency of European neurosurgeons at the highest level.

Dr Dimitriu has been invited as Faculty for the Cervical Degen module of the 2026 Global Spine Diploma Program. This leading international programme, supported by AOSpine, trains spine surgeons worldwide.
